John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Agent & Miraculous Recovery Serum

Since cutting my hair quite a bit shorter, the one thing I was worried about what it going frizzy due to there not being so much weight to weigh it down. However, I still took the plunge and cut it, I just went online to Boots and made an order. I went straight to the John Frieda range simply because I had previously heard of this range.

First I picked up the John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Agent Touch Up Creme, what a mouthful. I wanted a product that could be applied to both wet and dry hair basically so I just had one for each of those times. This product is the one which is to be applied onto dry hair and can literally be used whenever you need it. It's a super easy product to use; you simply just use a small amount of product and run it through the mid-length to the ends of your hair. I would recommend starting off with a smaller amount of product and keep working like that, as too much of this product in the same area of your hair can make it look slightly greasy and wet. However, I've really been enjoying using this product more when I'm being lazy and cannot be bothered to properly style my hair. It definitely helps with the frizz and tones it down, making the no effort I've put in look more sleek.

The second product is the John Frieda Miraculous Recovery Creme Serum which has many claims which are; eliminates frizz, repairs damage, treats split ends and nourishes. This product can actually be applied on either wet or dry hair but because I purchased the other product for dry hair, I have only been using this product on wet hair. After washing my hair and leaving it to towel dry for a little while, I then go in with this product from the mid-lengths to the ends of my hair. I use 3 pumps for the whole of hair and I do feel that it does cover the majority of my hair. Now with this product being from the Frizz Ease range, I would have liked this product to have helped with my frizz. I don't know whether it is because I am using it on wet hair, and I haven't tried it on dry hair, but I don't notice a difference after using this product. However, I do feel like this product helps with the damage on my hair, which is relatively minimal, but it does therefore help protect it.

Overall, I'm enjoying the first product much more than the second one in terms of helping with the frizz of my hair. The second product is good but it doesn't fully do what it states, which is unfortunate. Let me know your favourite product to help eliminate frizz, I'd love to hear them!
